The Department of Commerce is offering a B.com course under the choice-based credit system (CBCS). The degree program offered by the Department of commerce consists of a disciple-specific core and elective courses, skill enhancement courses, and generic elective courses. The department is committed to integrating all facts of commerce to educate and train innovative and competent human resources globally suitable for industry business and service sector and to quip and encourage them to start their venture in urban and rural areas.

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (B.COM)

The Department of Commerce was established in 1997-98 and has been scaling heights ever since. The Department offers Bachelor of Commerce degree under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), one of the most demanded courses of the contemporary academic world. The students have added to its prestige by securing university ranks and high level placements. Highly professional in nature, the course intends to provide a foundation for students who plan to pursue their career in business, commerce, accounting etc. we also encourage students to organize events such as National Seminars, Inter-college and inter department meets, participate in events organized by other colleges and also get involved in activities of social relevance.

The outcomes can be precisely explained as:

PO – 1: After completing three years for Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) program, students would gain a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Commerce and Finance.
PO – 2: The commerce and finance focused curriculum offers a number of specializations and practical exposures which would equip the student to face the modern-day challenges in commerce and business.
PO -3 The all-inclusive outlook of the course offer a number of value based and job oriented courses ensures that students are trained into up-to-date. In advanced accounting courses beyond the introductory level, affective development will also progress to the valuing and organization levels

  • Demonstrate, solve, and understand major concepts in different disciplines of Nonmedical i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology.
