रोवर एंड रेंजर का परिचय

The Rover Scouts started in 1918, when the need for a separate unit for young men was felt. The Ranger Guides started in the 1920s, for young women. Scouts Day, also known as Founder’s Day or World Scout Day, is celebrated on 22 February, the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scout movement. The day is also recognised by the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. In India, the Rover and Ranger units are formally run by the Bharat Scouts and Guides organisation, which was formed in 1950.
